Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity is the nation’s oldest and largest co-ed business fraternity, which includes a network of over 350 established chapters throughout the continental United States. We welcome students with an interest in business, looking to shape them into successful and principled business leaders throughout our teachings of knowledge, integrity, unity, service, and brotherhood. Our current brothers are in a variety of disciplines, including Environmental Science, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Engineering, Math, History, Philosophy, Politics and Law, English, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and many more. We accept all students, no matter their major, religion, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.
The Brothers of the Omega Zeta Chapter are highly involved in many organizations across campus, including the PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholars Program, the School of Management Academic Advising and Career Services, Harpur Edge, Speaking Center, Residential Assistant, the Office of Communications and Marketing at Binghamton Admissions, and more. Our members are ambitious and never step down from a challenge. They are not afraid to be leaders on campus, and they carry that into the professional workplace as well. You can find Omega Zeta alumni and brothers at each of the Big 4 Accounting Firms, Mid Size Accounting Firms, including Grassi and Co., and Protiviti, and other firms like RSM, Shellman & Company, and much more. We also have brothers that have worked at other organizations such as the Museum of American Armor, PennEnvironment, Fox Entertainment, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, and more.
Our Brothers are not only professionally driven, but socially driven as well. You can find current members grabbing lunch together at the Marketplace, bowling in Union Undergrounds, or simply hanging out anywhere else on campus in between classes or after. The sense of brotherhood in this fraternity is obvious in our support for the well-being of one another. Our alumni from a couple of years ago still remain close friends to this day, and I can confidently say that I will be connected with the Brothers of the Omega Zeta chapter long after my time at Binghamton University is over.

Omega Zeta Chapter at SUNY Binghamton
Alpha Kappa Psi was founded in 1904 at New York University based upon the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members.
College men and women everywhere are discovering that Alpha Kappa Psi is much more than just an organization or club—it is a unique, prestigious brotherhood of students, professors, graduates and professionals with common interests and goals.
In the Spring of 2007, the students of Binghamton University expressed serious interest in establishing a chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi on the Binghamton University campus. Assisted by the Iota Rho Chapter at Montclair State University and Gamma Pi Chapter at Seton Hall University, the Binghamton University Colony began to work towards becoming a part of something that was much greater than anyone could have imagined.
After over six months of pledging, hard work and determination, the Omega Zeta chapter at Binghamton University was officially recognized as a part of Alpha Kappa Psi. It was only the beginning of what would become an ongoing and life changing experience.
